Andy Iddon
Andy leads the company and is directly responsible for client relationships and new business development. Originally from a development background, he has over 12 years technical and management experience implementing websites and web content management solutions across UK and Europe. Working with both public and private sectors organisations he has specialised in delivering programmes of work focusing on web strategy, organisational change, solution implementation and global rollouts.
Jonathan's primary role is to oversee our technical consultancy engagements and lead the architecture of client solutions. Jonathan has extensive international experience of designing web based technical solutions using a wide range of platforms including .NET, J2EE and open source tools. Prior to establishing Building Blocks he led technical implementations for a number of well known organisations such as Toyota, Sharp Electronics, Ernst & Young, Intel and L’Oreal.
Andy has over 13 years experience helping businesses create successful online applications and websites. Working under a variety of job titles in this time such as Functional Architect, Information Architect, User Experience Consultant, Business Solution Consultant and Business Analyst, Andy has previously designed successful digital solutions for large companies such as Adidas, Intel, Ernst & Young, HP, BT, Learning Skills Council, Telegraph Media Group and Houses of Parliament. Andy leads the Building Blocks design team on formulating web strategies and user experiences for our customers.
Sonia joined Building Blocks at the start of 2009 to oversee the delivery of Building Blocks projects. With a technical background, Sonia specialises in managing and enforcing strong processes for the implementation and deployment of technology projects. Prior to joining Building Blocks, Sonia worked as an IT Consultant for Accenture. During this time she worked in Technical Architect and Technical leadership roles on long assignments for both BT and Vodafone. In these positions Sonia managed the implementation, testing and deployment processes for a number of business critical initiatives.
